Priorities
See it live: demo site priorities
Priorities is a system for tagging your overall website content (not just your blog) based upon your top organizational issues.
Created for nonprofits originally, if your nonprofit focuses on one issue only – early childhood education – you may not need to use this feature. If your focus is early childhood education, food insecurity, and school meals for all then priorities becomes a useful tool.
Throughout your website, you'll see options to choose or create priorities. It's part of the events calendar, publication library, and blog. As you tag events, documents, links, and posts, your website will automatically generate priority pages to aggregate this content.
The index page for all priorities will automatically list and link to individual pages that display the latest corresponding content site-wide.
Best of all, your priorities can be easily edited when things change.
Here's a sample priority page for Geology
If your organizational language changes, and you need to change this priority to "geoscience"
Simply edit that page and change it to Geoscience – and save.
And when you reload the Geology priority page - you'll see all instances of it have been changed automatically!
This is terrific for SEO, great for getting everybody deeper into your site content, and an easy way to stay organized – with minimal effort.
