Sliders and Carousels

Carousels and sliders are popular website additions that allow you to display logos, blog feeds, custom content features or swipe through news or testimonials. These special features are created in the features gallery - where you add them once. Once added, it's easy to summon a carousel (multiple items like the blog carousel) or slider (single items like the news slider) in any landing page, and just customize what you'd like to display.

• Optional Tagging to further select just those "testimonials" about "customer service"

Creating special features is a 2-part process. First, you create all your features in the features gallery. Next, in any landing page, select the rich content display for "Sliders and Carousels" and customize the settings to display the features you want. This gives you a side scrolling display that can be moved anywhere up and down the page. 

1. First navigate to the Features Gallery in the document tree and choose new. As you add features, you'll see and indicator in the document tree telling you what kind of feature it is, and whether it has a category tag
   
   
   
   
2. You'll give your feature a name, and choose one of three options: logos, testimonials, or general... 
   
   
   
   
3. The template is based on the type of feature you select. General features are a bit longer, and allow photos, text, buttons and links. You can also tag them by creating categories.  A B&B might have six features in a given season, some tagged with "weekend getaways" and others with "honeymoon packages" allowing them to customize the features show on the weddings landing page, for example.

5. As do logos... all pages work the same. Drag and drop images, select options from drop down menus, and save. 
   
   
   
   
   
6.  In the landing page, choose the slider and carousel display,  then select the feature you'd like. Customize any settings in the block for speed, colors, height, etc.
